Harvard has rescinded presents of admission from at the very least 10 potential college students after they have been discovered to have posted “sexually specific” and offensive memes in a personal Fb chat, according to a report from The Harvard Crimson.
The group was apparently an offshoot of a common Fb chat for potential members of the Class of 2021. To snag an invitation to the “R-rated” chat, members needed to submit offensive or graphic memes or messages within the common chat.
At one level, the Crimson reviews, the offshoot was referred to as “Harvard memes for sexy bourgeois teenagers.” Crimson reporter Hannah Natanson writes:
