It’s Friday the 13th, and appropriately, Netflix has launched a new — and remaining — trailer for the second season of Stranger Issues.
We acquired our last good look at the season back in July at San Diego Comic-Con, and we all know that we will anticipate extra nostalgia and larger monsters in the upcoming season. Based mostly on this new trailer, there’s that and a lot more.
The trailer kicks off with Eleven retrieving the waffles that Hopper left for her in the woods, and shortly segues into what’s occurring with Will. He’s been seeing issues, and everybody appears to understand that his time in the Upside Down isn’t behind him yet. We see glimpses of the large shadow monster that has appeared in different trailers, while Will’s associates rally round him to help save him and confront this rising darkness from the opposite world.
The show’s creators have spoken about how they’ve drawn their inspiration this season from the most important sequels of the 1980s, reminiscent of Terminator 2 and Aliens, and this trailer exhibits that they have amped up the motion and stakes this time round.
The subsequent season of Stranger Issues begins streaming on October 27th.
