One of the greatest role-playing games of all time is now available on PC. Today, Square Enix unexpectedly launched Chrono Trigger on Steam, with an updated version of the SNES classic that will include a handful of welcome features and additions.
The PC version of Chrono Trigger will include what the developer describes as “optimized visuals designed for modern PCs,” as well as a re-recorded soundtrack that was supervised by original composer Yasunori Mitsuda. It will also include the two bonus dungeons that came with the Nintendo DS and mobile versions of the game, and a much-welcome autosave feature.
